Live Music Services
It's how we started.
Zach first performed violin at a wedding when he was 14. More than twenty years ago. Since then, he has performed at hundreds of weddings and events solo and with one or two other musicians. Our live music services are a great option to give your wedding a unique and timeless feel. We can even go all Bridgerton on it.
Currently, our live wedding music services can include solo musicians such as violinists and cellists, duets such as violin and piano or violin and cello. We also offer string quartets as well. When requested, we have also added a vocalist.
What Our Live Music Services Include
In addition to being able to choose specific ensembles such as solo violin or string quartet, we also offer customizable set lists (just like our DJ services!). For example, many of our clients choose to have a special song such as Thousand Years or Can't Help Falling In Love With You played as they are walking down the aisle.
The genres that we can offer include classical music, Top 40, classic pop and love songs, Celtic music, and Christian music. Specific songs include the songs mentioned above but have also included selections from Phantom of the Opera, Taylor Swift, other Broadway songs, and Disney music. Our instrumental covers playlist is really quite endless. We'll work to come up with some suggestions that fit your wedding style and are special songs for you. Not every song works perfectly of course, and we'll be upfront about that. But we've played quite an extensive list and can probably make your request work. We've also played Arabic and Indian-styled music for receptions.
What does a live music wedding ceremony look like?
Typically, most clients book our live music services for their wedding ceremony and then the following cocktail hour. In a typical wedding, this will include about ten or fifteen minutes of music while your guests are being seated, your ceremony (around thirty minutes or so) and then another ten or fifteen minutes of music while you and your guests exit the ceremony space.
During your ceremony, we'll typically have three or four songs selected by you. Again, this is a completely customizable set list-we'll work together on it. Typically, this will include a prelude where your wedding party (and often the groom) walk down and stand. Then, your bridal processional. And then a recessional once the ceremony has been completed. We will at times be requested to perform during a sand or other unity ceremony. Other songs that can be chosen include a song for grandparents and/or parents.
We have also worked solo and as an ensemble for Catholic ceremonies as well and can accommodate a much larger set list for your ceremony.
